Q29 is a small collection of four heritage-style homes in East Vancouver — a collaboration between developer, designer and builder to give an old block a new chapter.
Q29 took the language of Vancouver's heritage Craftsman streetscape — gabled rooflines, exposed eaves, lapped siding, paned windows — and reimagined it for the way people live now.
Inside each home: open-plan living, oversized windows, white-oak floors, quartz kitchens, and the kind of square footage that's become rare on the East Side. Four homes, four families, one quiet street.
Gabled rooflines and traditional cladding keep the streetscape intact while the homes themselves are built to a contemporary spec.
Open kitchens, vaulted top floors and skylights bring daylight deep into rooms that older homes on this block never had.
White oak, honed quartz, matte black hardware, and integrated appliances — chosen to look as good in ten years as they did on day one.
A glimpse at the homes as they were photographed before sale.
A snapshot of the project at completion.
A small project, done well — built to feel like it has always belonged here. The Q29 Team
